All They Ever See

This was drawn in November 2008.
Obviously, my skills require a great deal of honing and training.
This was supposed to be a full warrior, in a torrential downpour. Yet as I got the sword, fingers, and arms to come out right, the rest of him vanished. So I left it and set it aside.
Now, looking at it, it feels right. When this character draws his sword, when he finally goes on the offensive, no one, friend or foe, can see past his blade to the person who is still there.
